This workshop will discuss the various lasers used during implant surgeries: photobiomodulation to aid healing, decrease pain, and decrease infection; diode lasers used for implant uncovering, esthetic tissue recontouring, and soft tissue management; erbium lasers for the decortication of bone, deepithislization of soft tissue, and disinfection of osteotomy site(s); and CO2 lasers for implant uncovering, soft tissue management, and implant detoxification.
Learning Objectives:
Learn how to use photobiomodulation in various positions on the body to aid in healing, decrease pain post-operatively, nerve regeneration, and prevent infection
Understand how to use a diode laser for various soft tissue procedures to aid surgical procedures
Discover how to use erbium and CO2 lasers to decorticate bone, deepithialize tissue, disinfect osteotomy sites, and treat peri-implantitis
