As technology continues to evolve, the one essential constant is our ability to diagnose and treatment plan. 3-D imaging technology provides the foundation for everything that follows in the new digital workflow. We live in a transitional period between analog and complete digital planning for dental implants and ancillary procedures. New tools enhance the diagnostic process and the collaboration between clinician, patient, and dental laboratory technician. The purpose of this presentation is to highlight the state-of-the-art for single tooth to full-arch reconstruction.
Learning Objectives:
Have a better understanding of 3-D imaging concepts
Understand the need for collaboration between digital technologies
Learn how 3-D printing and intra-oral scanning have changed the dynamics for implant surgery and restoration
