Rehabilitation with dental implants has been a predictable procedure for a long time. Patient’s expectation in receiving a treatment with immediate result has brought us big challenges and that push us to find a way to realize their need. The implant loading time has been well studied and the techniques of two surgical stages, one surgical phase and immediate and/or esthetic loading has shown high success rate. A combination of the implant design, bone quality and quantity and the sequence drill are the three most important factors to increase the possibility to achieve an ideal primary stability of the implant. A pre-plan and complement tests are critical to optimize better results in this technique. The immediate loading procedure can and should be done in full arch cases, partial, single restoration and post extractions cases.
Learning Objectives:
Implant design vs bone density vs drill sequence = Primary stability
Implant placement thinking 3-dimensionally
Selecting an ideal abutment regarding the biological width
