From simple and cost-effective socket grafting to more advanced clinical concepts in bone regeneration, this presentation covers a spectrum of pliable preformed shapes used for bone grafting procedures for implant placement. A portion of the lecture will be dedicated to socket grafting without a membrane using the bioactive OsteoGen® Bone Grafting Plugs. Surgical techniques and novel composite biomaterials composed of bioactive OsteoGen® Bone Grafting Crystals and Collagen will be discussed. The science and biological basis of growth factor utilization in bone and soft tissue applications will be reviewed using L-PRF technology combined with the OsteoGen® Plugs and Strips.
Demonstrate simple, predictable, and cost-effective socket grafting techniques without the use of a membrane using the OsteoGen® Bone Grafting Plugs
Review additional surgical applications covering post-extraction grafting around immediately placed implants, including filling interproximal and facial gaps after extraction and sinus grafting
Discuss the scientific and biological basis leading to the enhancement of the implant site through the combination of new biomaterials with autologous growth factors
