Dr. Heller is a graduate of The Ohio State University School of Dentistry (1988). He completed his prosthodontics residency at The Medical College of Virginia (1990) and completed his hospital based implant residency/graduate training at Loma Linden University, CA (1997).
Dr. Heller currently serves as Co-Director of the Midwest Implant Institute (MII). The Midwest Implant Institute helped seven Dental Schools develop their dental implant program and has taught thousands of doctors to become dental implant surgeons. Dr. Heller has trained these doctors in the hands-on externship of the Midwest Implant Institute, providing individualized surgical instruction to the doctor and their staff.
Dr. Heller has taught and surgically performed numerous courses ranging from implant placement to advanced bone grafting, lateral nerve repositioning, sinus elevation and numerous other surgical procedures.
A noted author and speaker, Dr. Heller maintains a private practice oriented to implant surgery and related prosthetics for nearly 25 years.
