Studies show that 70% of our communication is achieved non-verbally and that it is more accurate than the words we use. Imagine the impact we have with our patients when we combine the right body language, tone of voice, facial expression, and words to communicate our patient objectives to the clients receiving our care. The dental team has great influence in the way the patients perceive the quality of care being provided. The way the team members treat patients is a defining moment in how patients feel about the doctor, his or her treatment, and the way the practice operates. Even if the doctor has exceptional clinical skills, the dental team can unwittingly weaken the strengths of the office. This program will provide specific steps and chairside conversations to introduce patients to the practice and engage them in treatment. This workshop will explore how we can genuinely improve our communication effectiveness at the treatment chair to increase treatment acceptance, patient satisfaction, and practice growth.
